The Four C's
Every diamond tells a story written in four chapters. Understanding them is the first step to finding yours.
Cut
Brilliance & FireThe cut is the only C shaped by human hands — and the most important. A masterfully cut diamond orchestrates light into a cascade of brilliance, fire, and scintillation. From Ideal to Poor, it is the difference between a stone that breathes and one that sleeps.
Color
Purity of HueGraded on a scale from D (perfectly colorless) to Z, a diamond's color describes the absence of tint. The rarest stones are utterly clear — carrying no trace of yellow or brown — allowing pure, unfiltered light to pass through their depths.
Clarity
Inner LandscapeNature inscribes each diamond with its own fingerprint — minute inclusions and surface blemishes formed over billions of years. Clarity measures their presence. The fewer and smaller these marks, the rarer the stone, and the more freely light may travel through it.
Carat
Weight & PresenceCarat is the measure of a diamond's weight — one carat equals 200 milligrams. While size commands immediate attention, it is the interplay of all four C's that determines true value. A smaller stone of exceptional quality can outshine one of greater mass.
